Bourscheid Castle

A vast castle ruin on a ridge above the Sûre valley.

Bourscheid is one of the largest castles in Luxembourg, with a history going back about a thousand years. Its walls, towers and restored buildings sit on a rocky spur with sweeping views over the wooded Sûre valley. The site is a favourite stop on hikes and drives through the Ardennes.

💡 The walk up from the valley is steep but worth it for the view.
