Clervaux and The Family of Man
A legendary photography exhibition in a castle in the Ardennes.
The Family of Man was created by Edward Steichen for the Museum of Modern Art in New York in 1955: 503 photographs about humanity from 68 countries. It has been shown permanently in Clervaux Castle since 1994 and is listed in UNESCO's Memory of the World register. Above the town stands the Benedictine abbey of Clervaux.
💡 Clervaux is on the main railway line to the north, so the train is the easiest way.
