Echternach
Luxembourg's oldest town, built around an abbey founded by Saint Willibrord in 698.
The basilica holds the tomb of Saint Willibrord in its crypt, and the abbey buildings and old market square make a pleasant stroll. Every Whit Tuesday the town hosts the hopping procession, listed by UNESCO as intangible cultural heritage in 2010. A lake and the Mullerthal trails are close by.
