Mudam and Fort Thüngen
Contemporary art in an I. M. Pei building on the walls of an 18th-century fort.
Mudam, the Museum of Modern Art Grand-Duc Jean, opened in 2006 in a glass-roofed building by the architect I. M. Pei. It stands on the ramparts of Fort Thüngen, whose three towers are nicknamed the 'Three Acorns'; inside the fort, the Musée Dräi Eechelen tells the history of the fortress. The European district of Kirchberg is all around.
💡 The tram from the city centre and the main station stops nearby.
