Notre-Dame Cathedral

Luxembourg's cathedral, a former Jesuit church mixing late Gothic and Renaissance styles.

The church was built between 1613 and 1621 for the Jesuits and became a cathedral in the 19th century. Its slim spires are part of the city skyline. The crypt holds the tombs of the grand ducal family, and every spring the 'Octave' pilgrimage brings thousands of people here.
